If you had a brick and mortar business selling clothes, you would need a place to show them off, you would need a location, a store.

Your website will become a place where you can interact and engage with your readers and followers. This will allow you to talk about more than just a simple line of clothing, but also answer any questions your readers might have and provide valuable tips. For example, choosing the right type of clothing for a particular setting. Your website/blog allows you to build and brand your self as an authority in your industry.

Step 2: Getting Traffic – Gaining Exposure to Your Online Clothing Store
Ok, so you are now done with step 1, you have a website(if you didn’t get your FREE website yet go do that now), but if you have a website with no visitors a.k.a. traffic, then you still won’t make money. This is where Wealthy Affiliate really comes in to play with their training.

You can even talk about designing clothes, you can discuss quality and the pros and cons of clothes being made of different materials.
You want to talk about the best and worst dressed actors of the year and then showcase how your readers can look like the best with certain peices of clothing that you have, then go for it.
By engaging your readers with topics from above, they soon become followers, and then customers….and if you provide plenty of valuable content, very loyal customers! 🙂
Step 3: You Need a Mentor and a Support Group
You can have steps 1 and 2 already down but if you don’t have some type of mentor or coach or at minimum a support group around you that you can rely on for questions and challenges that come up while you build your business, then it can be overwhelming for sure.
